At First Presbyterian Church, our goal is to partner with parents in raising their children to love the Lord and his son Jesus Christ. We are committed to teaching the truths of the Bible to your sons and daughters so that they can become fully devoted followers of Christ. Won't you join us on this incredible adventure?

Sunday School - 9:45 AM

We offer traditional Sunday School classes for children ages 3 through 5th grade in age appropriate classrooms. Children meet in the following rooms of the Johnson wing:

3 & 4 year olds - Room 116

Kindergarten - Room 115

1st & 2nd Grade - Room 114

3rd & 4th Grade - Room 224

5th Grade - Room 225

Children's Church - 11:15 AM

Children in Kindergarten - 3rd Grade attend the beginning of the 11:00 AM service with their parents. They will then be excused from service to children's church which takes place in Room 223. Children join the Director of Children's Ministry, Jami Conroy, and parent volunteers for a special lesson and worship time tailored just for them! We have a blast each week! Parents, please pick up your children in Room 223 immediately following the service.

LOGOS Wednesdays (Fall to Spring) - 4:30 PM

LOGOS is a four-component program currently operating in more than 1,500 churches across the country. Through Bible study, worship, choir, recreation, and dinnertime, young people are nurtured in their faith, peer and parent relationship. The program and the manner in which it functions complements the Church School experience.

FPC Nursery

Welcome! We are glad you have decided to share your time with us. Childcare for infants 6 weeks old through Pre-K is provided at all Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening programming.

Our trained staff will be waiting to greet you and your child as early as 8:45 AM in their age appropriate classrooms. All parents will be asked to sign in their child and provide us with a cell phone number (please have your phone on vibrate during service) so that we can reach you in the event of an emergency.

- Infant Room (6 weeks to beginning walkers) - Located close to the sanctuary in Room

101, our infant room has all the comforts of home for your baby including high chairs,

cribs, and plenty of fun-filled toys. Please complete an "All About Me" form when you

bring your child tot he room so that our nursery workers know how to best care for your

little one.

- 1 & 2 Year Olds - Just down the hall from the hall from the infants in Room 106, we

welcome your 1 and 2 year old children. This classroom has a little more structure with

play time, snacks, special activities, and music. Here we begin to help children

understand the wonderful world that God made. Parents, please complete an "All About

Me" form so we know your child's allergies or special needs.

- 3 & 4 Year Olds - Children have lots of FUN learning about Jesus in our 3 & 4 year old

room! Located in Room 116 of the Johnson Building, children will hear Bible stories, color,

sing, have snacks, and grow in their understanding of how much Jesus loves them!

Security Tag System

The care, safety, and security of your sweet little ones is very important to us! When you leave your child in our care, he or she will receive a security tag with their name on it. The tag is clipped to their clothes in the older classrooms and their diaper bag in the infant room. Parents will be given a matching tag. This tag must be presented at pick up. Our nursery staff will make sure the tags match before releasing a child to you. Please remember to leave both tags in the classroom when you leave.
