 FPC Youth

Sunday Morning

Middle School and Senior High classes meet in the  Lodge for Bible study and discussion of topical issues.

Middle School & Senior High Fellowship

Sunday evening fellowship and worship opportunities are available for 6th thru 12th graders. All youth meet at 6:00 PM for dinner in the Fellowship Hall before our program begins. There is no charge for youth dinner, and there is fun, friendship, and spiritual growth for all. Special activities are incorporated throughout the year. The groups also participate in service and mission projects. Teams of advisors coordinate and direct the activities for both groups.

Retreats

Middle School and Senior High members have the opportunity to participate in Flint River Presbytery’s Fall Youth Overnight. Several of our youth are members of Presbytery’s Youth Council.

Other possible activities are ski trips, summer camp, Celebration of Faith conference in March, and the Montreat Youth Conference in June, to name a few.

Youth Sunday

One Sunday each Spring, the youth of the church plan and lead the 11:00 AM worship service. Seniors traditionally give sermonettes. This impressive and moving service shares how much God is at work in the lives of our young people.
