Break Bread
Break Bread is a program begun over 30 years ago by First Presbyterian Church to deliver hot meals at lunchtime to the elderly and homebound. Volunteers, either individually or in tandem, pick up meals at Enrichment Services (or other designated providers as needed) and deliver them to perhaps half a dozen homes. The volunteer commitment is usually for one or two days per month, and the routes take less than an hour to complete. While the majority of Break Bread volunteers are First Presbyterian Church members, a number of the volunteers have no affiliation to our church.
